The portal project team is actually comprised of six teams - the core team, the communications and training team, the content team, the design and usability team, the policy team, and the technology and integration team. Individually, these teams have defined membership and goals to accomplish based on the unique knowledge and experience of their team members. Together, the teams ensure the portal project meets all of its overall objectives.
The core team is responsible for ensuring all other teams meet their obligations and that we are responding in a timely manner to internal and external issues. Core team members are leaders of other portal teams.

The communications team is responsible for identifying communications and training needs and developing plans to deliver communications and training efforts to different constituent groups.
Members of the Communications and Training Team include:
The content team has perhaps the most time-intensive role of any of the individual portal teams - they are responsible for identifying the different audiences we'll deliver content to, how we deliver that content, who is responsible for the development and maintenance, and the prioritization of content development and support where time constraints dictate. For this reason, the content team has representatives from all major constituent groups and many of the larger departments of the College.

The design and usability team is a small group charged with the design and development of the visual portion of the portal system. This includes customizing the user interface, modifying related content (e.g. login page). Additional responsibilities include coordinating logo development, supporting CMS efforts related to the portal project, and conducting usability tests with constituent groups.

The policy team is responsible for the identification of policy needs and development of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. Policies developed by the policy team will be submitted to PLT for review and approval.

The technology and integration team is responsible for identifying cross-functional area development and/or integration needs and implementing products or developing solutions to meet those needs. The team consists of members from different functional areas within the College's information technology areas.
